A U.S. company is adding AI-driven features to its products and needs a senior Python engineer who can build the backend that makes them work. You'll design scalable APIs, integrate machine learning models into production systems and keep those systems secure, fast and reliable.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend services with Python and frameworks like Django, Flask or FastAPI.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Deploy machine learning models into production with data science teams.
- Build data pipelines for model training and inference.
- Optimize performance and scalability for AI-driven features.
- Ensure security, testing and CI/CD automation, and monitor production systems for uptime and reliability.
What you bring
- 5+ years of backend development with a strong focus on Python.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production, with TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in Django, Flask or FastAPI.
- SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Data processing, ETL pipelines and asynchronous programming.
- Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), with a strong grasp of API security and scalable architecture.
Nice to have
- MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
- Microservices architecture.
- Data engineering and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
