Why this role exists
We're looking for a mid-level software engineer who wants to grow into a Solution Engineer, building AI-enabled automation solutions in real client environments. It's a role for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous business needs into practical, scalable solutions with APIs, data flows and AI-assisted tools.
You'll bring strong engineering fundamentals. We'll bring a structured training program with hands-on experience in our platform, solution patterns and AI-driven development. From there, the role offers a clear path to Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE): working directly with clients to design, build and deploy intelligent systems.
Who you'll work with
You'll work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, so asking clarifying questions and flagging blockers early is part of the job.
We use AI every day, and we expect you to be comfortable with it without depending on it. That means writing precise prompts, breaking vague problems into smaller automatable tasks, reviewing AI-generated code critically and knowing when to validate architecture, security and data design yourself.

What you will do
- Build AI-enabled automation solutions for real client environments.
- Turn ambiguous business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
- Connect systems through APIs, integrations and data flows.
- Structure business logic and data transformations.
- Use AI tools for scaffolding, documentation and test data while keeping your work modular and understandable.
- Work directly with stakeholders and communicate progress and blockers early.
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years of professional software development.
- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript, Node.js and HTML/CSS basics.
- Experience with REST APIs, HTTP request/response patterns, JSON, data modeling and basic authentication and authorization.
- SQL and NoSQL databases, Git and solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfort using AI tools to build, test and document, without depending on them.
- Clear written and spoken English, strong ownership, adaptability and comfort with ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Workflow automation tools and low-code or flow-based platforms.
- Building AI-enabled features.
- Client-facing implementation projects.
- Webhooks and event-driven integrations.
- Technical documentation and Scrum or agile teams.

Introduction with the client.
